Point England Art Exhibition for Te Wā Toi

Today we went for a walk around the school to look at all the artworks that the students of Point England have been making this term for Te Wā Toi. Here are some of our thoughts:

This is Room 15's entry into the 2018 Manaiakalani Film Festival. We are kind to everyone at Point England and we hope you are all kind to everyone too.

Slippers!!!

Some very generous people knitted a lot of slippers and donated them to our school. We each got a pair and love them! Here we are with our slippers on- saying 'Thanks' for them:-)

Learning about, and on, ipads:-)

In week 5 Mrs Lai started working with us to teach us about the cool things we could do in our learning using ipads. We are working with her every Thursday from 10-11. So far we have learnt how to make a new project, how to create shapes, how to change colours, how to take a photo, and how to make a new page in our project! Wow so much learning! We are looking forward to the next learning Mrs Lai will share with us:-)

Bubble Fun

Today was raining but we went out and made bubbles! Bubbles are fun and we will write about what the bubbles looked liked tomorrow:-)

Learning about being healthy with Harold the giraffe:-)

Room 15 visited the Life Education truck in week 1 and 3. Lynn and Harold the giraffe helped us learn that our bodies need to eat a variety of healthy food so we can have energy to learn, play and do what we need. We need to eat lots of fruit and vegetables every day to keep our brain healthy for learning. Here are some photos and videos of what we learnt:-)
